Emerge- to come forth

This lesson was a collaborative lesson with three other peers. It is not visible from this angle, but the head and part of the shell of the turtle are both raised on the paper, as if the turtle was emerging from the water. An extension lesson I would use this for would be a Language Arts lesson, having the students write a story about the collage they made.
