Me, Myself, and My Initials

In this lesson we were to cut out images from magazines or bring pictures from home that we could cut up. We were all to choose a geometric shape and cut our images into that shape. I chose triangles, but found it hard to find images. Instead, I decided to do patterns. I found this project to be very fun, and something that students would really enjoy, especially if they were to include their own images. An extension activity I would use this in would be in Language Arts. I would have students write about the images they included, and why these images were special to them.
