Garden Stepping Stones

In this lesson we completed a stepping stone for a Kindergarten class. I included a laminated picture of my daughter with beads around it. We were to do the project as if we were to give it to someone special. If I were a Kindergartner, I would give this go my mother as a keepsake. I will cherish this project for many years to come. Because children at such a young age could not write, my extension would be to illustrate why they chose to include what they did on their stepping stone. Older students could write a story about the image or patterns they displayed.
