In this lesson, we studied printmaking. We brainstormed ideas of thigns that made us think of Christmas. After that, we drew our images that we had chosen into some styrofoam and went through the printmaking process of putting the image we had made onto cards. I did a Christmas tree as my first example, but it did not turn out. I loved the snowman, though! As an extension activity, you could have students make a card for a loved one or for someone in a nursing home/assisted living.
