In this multi-part lesson we created a sketchbook to be used in an art classroom. This took many class periods, because the class had to paint the cover, attach it to tag board, bind the paper and insert the paper into the sketchbook. My sketchbook was done differently then other students, and didn't turn out as well because of the lack of paper inside. I've learned that the other way may be easier in a classroom with younger students. In this sketchbook we were required to do two sketches. As an extension, it also could be used for doodle during down-time in class, or used to accompany others by using it as a journal.
